Project Funding
FORR is offering financial assistance in the form of mini-grants or scholarships up to $500 for persons working to further FORR’s mission.
What is FORR’s mission?
To increase awareness of race and race related issues in Frankfort and Franklin County, Kentucky and to affect positive change within individuals, between individuals, and at institutions.
Who is eligible?
Anyone with a desire and a plan to learn something that will advance FORR’s mission.

Applications Accepted August 1 — October 15
Awarding funds
Award decisions will be made by December 1, 2025 and the award will be presented on December 6, 2025. Grant status will be determined by the FORR Scholarship Committee. Ninety percent of award will be presented then; the final ten percent will be awarded upon receipt of a final report. The deadline for the final report will be negotiated with the recipient based on the nature and timing of the project.
